Eggs

There are over 50 free ranging chickens at Hillside at the moment (with more on the way), roaming the fields and under the fruit trees, producing delicious eggs of all different sizes and colours.

Also there is a small number of quail and ducks producing different and egg-citing varieties for those looking for something different.

All the eggs can be found on our little sale stall outside the cottage gate.

Fruit, Vegetables and homemade Jams & Chutneys

Vegetables & fruits grown on farm will be available seasonally on the stall for sale. A lot of surplus produce is often turned in to jams, chutneys and other preserves, sold under the “Mrs Plumley’s Preserves” label. Many will be out on the farm gate for sale at varying prices during the season and at local stall sales such as Ashburnham WI Spring & Christmas markets.

Flowers & Gifts

From time to time they may be other goods for sale from handmade cards and gifts by The Crafty Chook to plants, table birds such as chickens and turkeys at Christmas and boxed meat from our home reared beef. Details will be added to the For Sale Now box on the home page of this website and updated on Facebook and Twitter.
